Wow it has been a long time since I’ve updated this blog, over a month. I would have posted last month, as it was October and well you know Halloween came and went. It would have been perfect to give you folks a special Halloween post.
I thought I would take this time to tell you all why I haven’t been posting lately. As you know, if you have read the about me page, the goal was to finish these summaries by graduation, which for me is May 11, 2018. With that being said, I am happy to report that as of about 5 weeks ago, I have officially filed for Spring 2018 graduation.
What that being said, I’ve been crazy busy. Luckily I only am required to take 3 classes. But that won’t make me a full-time student which is required for my job. This semester, I had to drop a class that ended up getting waived (thank god), and ended up 2 credits short.
Next semester will most likely be my hardest, as I have my capstone and my internship class. Yes that is right I am currently in the middle of doing my 400 hour required internship. I am interning for a cool company, where so far I’ve been in the HR department. This has awaken a love for HR work and I have decided to pursue a career in HR. I like that I get to work with people, but not with the public.
A lot of people have asked and assumed that I will stay in Hawaii, but truth be told, I miss seasons. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sun and tolerate the beach, but I miss being able to get into a car and drive to another state. Right now my plan is to stay in Hawaii for summer as a summer RA and then take my graduation trip.
I plan on doing a trip through Canada, starting in Montreal and ending in Vancouver. I am not sure how long this trip will be, but I am estimating approximately 3-4 weeks. I plan to use only surface transportation, once I get to Montreal, which could consist of car, train, skateboard and my razor scooter.
I have my sights set on moving to Canada, either Toronto or Vancouver. I have been able to see myself living in Canada for the past 3 years. I also plan to attend graduate school in Canada as well, but after working for about a half year for more experience and taking the GRE.
So that is about it. I’ve also been into other shows lately, namely Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I actually got through the whole series, and I am now watching Turbo: A Power Rangers movie, before starting Turbo series. What can I say, it is my childhood. My childhood consisted of Power Rangers and Are You Afraid of the Dark?
So when can you folk expect a new summary, I will try my hardest to get one out this week and then just take it week by week.
And as always, Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society, I call this Blog: The Tale of Moira’s Afraid of the Dark? (But not really), Blog updates.
I know there are a lot of you reader from Canada, so please help me out and spread the word about this: I would like to interview *cough*Ross Hull or Raine Pare-Coull or Jodie Resther, *cough* I feel that if enough people tweet at them or Facebook them, and let them know about this blog, it can happen! Let’s make my dream come true!
